Hub Configuration

• What is a Hub?

A hub is a basic networking device that connects multiple computers or devices in a local network. It receives data from one device and sends it to all other devices connected to it.

• How to Add a Hub in Packet Tracer 

1) Open Cisco Packet Tracer. 

2) In the bottom device list, go to Network Devices > Hubs.

3)Select a hub (e.g., Generic Hub) and place it on the workspace.

4)Add two PCs from End Devices.

5)Use the Copper Straight-Through Cable to connect each PC to the hub.
