Marlon is the Senior Sales Director at Teladoc Health. He is a business development enthusiast with extensive domestic and international experience in sales, marketing, and strategic planning. He leads through curiosity, encouraging individual growth and inspiration, and fostering cohesive teamwork. Marlon is an innovative contributor that actively pursues opportunities and embraces challenges. He has proven client relationships success with industry leaders, and enterprise clients such as Bell Canada, CSA, Sun Life Financial, and Great-West Life.
Marlon is an Ottawa native and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University, and an MBA from McGill University. Marlon also holds an executive development course from McGill University. Marlon is a dynamic and experienced speaker and has presented at numerous conferences and educational institutions.
Regarded as one of the leading coaches in Canada, Kurt Downes currently coaches athletes from grassroots through professional levels with Border City Athletics Club. Downes has been awarded Athletics Canada’s Dr. Doug Clement Award for Coach of the Year (2019) and Canadian Running Magazine Community Builder of the Year (2020). Downes has coached two Olympians, one Paralympian, and multiple Team Canada athletes. Downes led Brandon McBride to a Canadian record in the 800m. He has served on Team Canada’s coaching staff several times, including the Tokyo Olympics 2020, IAAF World Athletics Championship 2019, Pan American Senior Championships 2019, NACAC Senior Championships 2018, IAAF World Championship 2017, Pan American Junior Championships 2015, IAAF World Youth Championships 2013, IAAF World Junior Championships 2012.
