As Director of CIS Esports Academy, I'd run the day-to-day program across all three tiers including scheduling practices and competitions, setting eligibility rules, and managing the coach and student captains. I'd also maintain the budget and revenue side, pricing and growing the paid Development Academy, chasing sponsorships, and running camps so the program moves toward self-funding. On top of that, I'm responsible for student safety and safeguarding (especially for external students who aren't already covered by CISP's own policies) and for co-developing the esports curriculum with teaching staff. Finally, I report results and milestones back to school leadership, acting as the public face of the Academy for partnerships and enrollment. This is proposed as a role I would build and run day-to-day, reporting to the Athletics Director, with full accountability for budget, safety compliance, and competitive outcomes across all three Academy tiers.
Prior to becoming an educator, I spent more than 16 years as a professional video gamer, giving me firsthand experience in the esports industry. I believe this background provides a unique perspective for this role. Not only did I compete professionally in esports, but I also developed alternative, media-rich revenue streams, giving me practical insight into both the competitive and business sides of the industry.

A part-time contracted coach with competitive or coaching background, budgeted in the operating model on the Business & Academy Mole Page, responsible specifically for the paid, external-facing tier.
