Picture CISP three years from now: a converted lab has become a full esports arena with broadcast capability. Twice a semester, teams from across the region arrive on our campus for an invitational tournament that streams to hundreds of viewers with CISP's name attached not as a participant, but as the host and the founding academy of Phnom Penh esports.
Picture the students. The ones who never found their place on a football pitch or a stage now have a jersey, a captain, a season, and a transcript line that says they led, competed, and were coached with the same seriousness as every other CISP athlete. For some students, the structure and discipline of esports build confidence that carries into the classroom, contributing to stronger attendance and greater academic motivation. Others move into the content, management, or strategy strands of the curriculum and discover, years before they'd otherwise encounter it, a genuine interest in media production, event operations, or technology.
And picture the families who found CISP through the Academy, not the admissions office. The Development Academy's external cohort becoming, quietly, one of the school's most authentic recruitment pipelines. A program that costs less to start than a single new sports field, reaches students no existing program reaches, and grows the school's reputation beyond its own gates. That is the case for CISP Esports Academy.
