The research internship engages youths (university students or fresh graduates) to collaborate on a research project titled "Circular by Nature," in collaboration with Shirvano Consulting. In this inaugural program, we welcomed Aninda Maulidyna (Bachelor of Environmental Science, UNS) and Aurelia Dewi (Master of Urban Design, UGM). The different disciplines of both interns complement the research's transdisciplinary nature. Acting as mentors from Shirvano Consulting are Wilda L. Ulfa (Urban Designer) and Muhammad Afendi (Landscape Architect), and from the Circular Development Initiative, Rendy B. Aditya (Planning Researcher). Kudos to all mentors for their valuable insights for our interns.
Both interns presented their initial findings at the Ruang Berbagi 13 Program by Shirvano, with panelist Cecilia Nonifili Yuanita from the Resilient Development Initiative. The presentation emphasized the roles and importance of nature in supporting circularity in cities and regions. The panelist appreciated the work done by both interns. Please enjoy the presentation from our interns on the Shirvano channel below.
