Cindy has seen firsthand how an inadequate water supply and failing infrastructure have affected our community. Heath families deserve a reliable, clean water supply—something that should be as simple as turning on the faucet. Unfortunately, in Heath, that hasn't been the case. Local leaders have failed to address these basic needs with simple, cost-effective solutions that would bring peace of mind to our families. Cindy will take action to implement innovative, fiscally responsible fixes to ensure consistent, clean water for everyone in Heath.

In addition, Cindy is committed to addressing the growing need for road repairs across our city. As Heath and Rockwall County continue to grow, Cindy will prioritize infrastructure projects that meet the highest standards, ensuring roads are safe, durable, and built to last for the long-term benefit of our community.

Cindy believes that local officials have gotten too comfortable operating behind closed doors, leaving the people of Heath in the dark. Too often, decisions that affect our everyday lives are made without transparency or accountability. Cindy is committed to changing that. She will be a strong voice for the community, ensuring that every action she takes is communicated openly and clearly. She believes that local government should serve the people, not just the interests of a few, and she will fight for a government that is truly accountable to the people of Heath, prioritizing the values of transparency and community trust.

As an entrepreneur, Cindy understands the challenges and rewards that come with building and sustaining a business. She knows that small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, driving growth, creating jobs, and fostering innovation. Cindy is committed to keeping Heath, Heath.  She and her husband moved to this community because of the small-town feel.  She supports the addition of small boutique businesses and high-end restaurants where entrepreneurs can thrive. She will fight to ensure that this community attracts businesses that reflect the upscale feel of this community. She opposes any growth that involves high-density development. 

Cindy deeply appreciates the hard work and dedication of Heath’s first responders, who put their lives on the line to keep our community safe. She understands the challenges they face and knows that these challenges are only worsened when the local government fails to provide the necessary resources and support. Cindy is committed to standing up for our Department of Public Safety, ensuring they have the funding and tools they need to protect our families and keep Heath a safe place to live.

Cindy’s professional career has exposed her to the inner workings of government at the local, state, and national levels.  She understands the importance of the connection and the distinction between local and state government.  Currently, communities like Heath are being threatened with the loss of local zoning control.  Cindy believes the city is better able to decide what is best for our citizens, not the state.  Her experience working as a Legislative Aide at the statewide level makes her more than qualified to advocate for our city and our citizens.  We need someone with the passion and ability to fight government overreach on day one.
