Cindy Horne is an entrepreneur, community leader, and proud native Texan running for Heath City Council Place 1. Passionate about preserving the family-friendly charm that makes Heath so special, Cindy is committed to advocating for the values that have made our community a great place to live and raise a family.
As a military spouse, Cindy’s life has taken her away from Texas multiple times with her husband's service. But six years ago, she was thrilled to return home and continue her dedication to serving her state and local community. In addition to her role as President and CEO of her consulting firm, Cindy has been a strong voice for conservative values in local government, fighting to ensure that our community remains a place where families can flourish. As a Rockwall County Precinct Chair and member of the Heath Board of Adjustments, Cindy has gained invaluable insight into the challenges facing Heath and Rockwall County residents and is determined to make a meaningful difference for local families. More recently she served on the Rockwall County 2050 Strategic Planning Committee, working with other community leaders to ensure that Rockwall is a prosperous community for generations to come.
Cindy has a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science as well as a Master’s Degree in Education. She and her husband, a West Point graduate and Army Veteran, have three children: a son who is a software developer and an Army Reservist and two daughters who graduated from the Air Force Academy and are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. The Hornes are members of Lakeshore Church, where they live out their commitment to faith and family values.
