Postdoctoral Fellow

Hi, I’m Dr. Amruta Avinash Shendge, a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Cilia Biology Lab, IIT Bombay. I completed my Ph.D. in February 2024 from the UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences. My research here focuses on understanding the stress-induced effects on Chlamydomonas reinhardtii and its relevance to Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD). I am also exploring ciliary dynamics in the context of cancer progression. 

Beyond research, I love travelling and discovering new places!
