The summer school will provide a pedagogical overview of some of the most exciting topics of current research in quantum materials from leading researchers, and foster candid discussion of challenges and opportunities associated with a career in this field.
Who should attend
Who should attend
The school is designed for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows working in the fields of quantum materials and condensed matter physics who want to learn more about current research topics and meet other members of the CIFAR community.
Format
Format
Each day will consist of two pedagogical lectures per topic, followed by a discussion panel between the two speakers with questions from the audience. We will also host a panel on science communication, flash talks, social hour, and additional discussions. For more information, please see the Schedule and Speakers.
