If you are looking for a Ph.D project, here is some information on possible funding sources. The Zoology department is also a member of the NERC DTP program. The application deadlines are usually around early December or January, so please contact us well in advance to discuss potential projects.

For post-doctoral funding, we are happy to support fellowship applications that either develop existing projects or that explore new ideas on related topics. Funding can be obtained through different routes, e.g.: Wellcome Early-Career Awards, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships, Human Frontier Science Program, EMBO Long-term fellowships, Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, Newton International Fellowships and Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellowships. There are also several Cambridge College Junior Research Fellowships you can apply for (advertised here).
