The Research Group in Computer and Data Sciences (CiCDa) is looking for talented and motivated international students who wish to conduct a research stay with us. If you currently hold a scholarship or funding from your home university and are looking for a host institution to develop your project, we invite you to join our team in Mendoza, Argentina.
About Us CiCDa focuses on designing and developing intelligent solutions for socio-productive, local, and regional challenges. We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to high-impact research in Computer Science and Data Science.
Our Research Lines: We welcome students interested in the following areas:
Mobility & Urbanism: Computational intelligence models applied to sustainable mobility.
Astroinformatics: Machine learning and data science methods for astronomical data.
Bioinformatics: Computational techniques for analysing Big Biological Data.
Image Processing: Machine learning for detection in human and plant digital imaging.
Chemoinformatics: AI applied to drug design.
Aerial Image Analysis: Deep learning for object detection in aerial and satellite imagery.
