Supporting the Body While Waiting for Answers
When communities face ongoing exposure and delayed remediation, many residents look for safe, everyday ways to support their bodies. This often includes focusing on hydration, nutrition, rest, reducing additional exposures, and paying closer attention to changes in health.
These personal steps are not a cure and do not replace medical care or environmental cleanup. They are acts of self-protection and awareness while people wait for transparency, testing, and action. Listening to the body, documenting symptoms, and seeking medical guidance when needed helps individuals advocate for their own health.
CICC supports informed, community-shared approaches to personal health awareness—while continuing to push for accountability, proper remediation, and long-term solutions that remove the source of harm.
