Works in Progress
In a paper on coordination in confused cases, I outline and defend an account of how semantic coordination works in cases of referential confusion.
In a paper on the semantics of names, I offer a type-polysemous semantics of names. The key idea is that a account employing type shifting principles best explains the linguistic data from a variety of uses of names.
In a paper on the semantics of definite descriptions, I present a contextualist account of definite descriptions. I compare my suggestion with another contextualist proposal made by Recanati.
