Chuang Wei is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Business School at Central University of Finance and Economics. He holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. His research examines the process through which people’s thoughts about themselves influence their prosocial behaviors and consumption preferences. He uses experimental and survey methods in online, laboratory, and also field settings to examine behaviors that have managerial implications for marketers, managers, and consumers themselves. He has published peer-reviewed research articles in many marketing and business journals, such as the Journal of Marketing Research, the International Journal of Research in Marketing.
