Contributor Rules and Regulations

Thank you for contributing to Chronicles of scientia! To ensure consistency, quality, and professionalism in the articles published on our platform, we ask all contributors to adhere to the following guidelines:

 Article Submission Guidelines

• Original Content: All articles must be original and not published elsewhere. Plagiarism will result in immediate rejection and may lead to removal from the contributor list.

• Structure: Articles should include a title, an engaging introduction, clear sections or subheadings (if applicable), and a conclusion.

• Tone and Style: Please ensure the tone matches the style of  Chronicles of scientia. We aim for formal, humorous professional,friendly,approachable content. Please avoid excessive jargon unless necessary and relevant to the audience.

 Content and Quality Expectations

• Relevance: Articles should be relevant to the themes of Chronicles of scientia. Ensure the content is engaging, informative, and insightful.

• Accuracy: Contributors are expected to provide accurate and factual information. Please fact-check and cite sources when necessary. Any misleading or false information will be grounds for rejection.

• Plagiarism: All submissions must be your own work. Any plagiarism or uncredited use of others' work will result in rejection and may affect your future contributions.

• Articles must be well written, engaging, and free of grammatical and spelling errors.

Copyright and ownership

• By submitting content, the contributer grants the magazine the right to publish and promote the article

• Contributors retain copyright over their work,but grant the magazine an exclusive or non exclusive license to display it online.

Editorial Process

• Review: All submitted articles will go through an editorial review process. We may suggest edits to improve clarity, structure, or tone. These changes will be discussed with the contributor before final approval.

• Approval and Publication: Articles will be published once they are approved by the editorial team. Contributors will be notified once their article is live on the website.

Image and multimedia use

• Images, graphics,videos etc submitted must be high quality and relevant to the content

• Video content should meet the technical specifications provided by the editorial team

Deadlines

• Submission Timeline: Contributors are expected to submit their articles by the agreed deadline. Late submissions may not be accepted for the next edition or issue.

• Revision Deadlines: Any revisions suggested by the editorial team should be submitted within the pre-agreed number of days to avoid delays in publication.

Credit

• Byline: All articles will include a byline with the contributor’s name. If you wish to include a bio, please provide it when submitting the article. The bio should not exceed x words.

Ethical Guidelines

• Respectful Content: Contributors are expected to respect all individuals, groups, and communities. Content that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or harmful ideologies will not be tolerated.

• No Conflicts of Interest: Contributors should avoid writing content that may present a conflict of interest (e.g., writing about a company you are affiliated with without disclosure).

• Copyright Compliance: All images, videos, or other media included in the articles must be properly credited and used with permission or under fair use laws.

Promotion and Social Media

• Social Media Sharing: Once the article is published, contributors are encouraged to share it on their personal or professional social media channels. Please tag Chronicles of scientia to help amplify the reach of the article.

• No Self-Promotion: Articles should not promote the contributor's own business, products, or services unless explicitly agreed upon with the editorial team.

Termination of Contribution Rights

• Violation of Guidelines: Contributors who consistently violate the rules and regulations may have their right to submit articles revoked. The decision to terminate a contributor’s access is at the discretion of the editorial team.

• Withdrawal of Submitted Work: If a contributor wishes to withdraw their article before it is published, they must inform the editorial team in writing. Once the article is published, it cannot be withdrawn unless under extraordinary circumstances.

Confidentiality

• Any unpublished content ,internal communication,or strategy shared by the editorial team must remain confidential
