Project Description
For this project, we had to find 4 different types of media (image, gif, sound clip, and video), explain how we found it, and find any copyright and licensing information about each piece.
Image/Graphic (.jpg)
I found this image by going to the Creative Commons website and searching for 'black couple holding hands' after I was influenced by some of the initial images I saw. I was redirected to Flickr and I downloaded the image and then added it to my site.
This image is under the CC BY 2.0 license, which means you are free to SHARE and ADAPT the image, as long as you pay ATTRIBUTION. This means you must:
give appropriate credit
provide a link to the license
indicate if changes were made

Animation (.gif)
I found this image by doing a Google search for free gifs and Giphy popped up. Of course I had to use a The Office gif! I then downloaded the gif and added it to my site.
I had to do some searching on Giphy's site, but they are under the Digital Millinium Copyright Act (DMCA). The DMCA states that you can use the content found on the site only for personal and Non-commercial purposes.

I did a Google search and I found Uppbeat, a site with free music downloads for creators. I saw a clip named “Airplane Mode” and I found that rather fitting for myself, as airplanes are my preferred mode of transportation
The clip I downloaded does have a license code, but it is copyright free, so long as you are using the music in line with whatever plan you purchased, either a ‘free user' or a Premium or Business subscriber'. Free users simply have to include sound credits in the description, and premium and business subscribers can whitelist their channels.

I went on YouTube and searched travel videos, since travelling is one of my favorite things to do. I then copied the video link so that I could embed it into my site.
I found out that YouTube has a Fair Use policy, so the content found there is pretty much open for anyone to use.

Lessons Learned
I learned that finding media is super easy! Finding licensing and/or copyright information, however, is not always as fun. Some sights make it easy to find, almost as easy as downloading the media. With other sites I had to actually do research to locate copyright information. Overall it was fun, and new, as I never download videos or sound clips.
