Can you earn 20 AR points in one month and keep your accuracy level above 88%? If you are up for the challenge, there will be a “SWEET” party in the library for you.

Would you like to sit in the front row during our Nick Bruel virtual visit? Maybe you would like to ask Nick a question. The Top 5 students based on AR points in each third and second-grade classroom will get a front-row experience with the author of all the Bad Kitty books! 

Virtual Author Visit is Feb. 16th.

Pizza Party AR Contests

 Any student that reaches 50 AR points by December 11, 2022, will not only have lunch in the library but also earn Little Caesar’s Pizza in the library! We will have two classroom pizza parties as well. The class with the most AR points for K-2nd grade and the class with the most AR points for 3-5th grade will receive a pizza party.

2022-23 Potato Book Character Contest

Please join the fun and decorate a potato as a book character. The top 10 potatoes will win prizes based on student votes. All classes will be given a chance to vote. All potato characters and books will need to be sent to the library no later than September 12, 2022. Please make sure your child’s name is legible and visible. The top 3  winning votes will receive ribbons and prizes.    

2021-22 Be Kind Bookmark Challenge!

We are so excited to launch our Be Kind Bookmark Competition! If you would like your child to participate please have him/her design a bookmark that focuses on our "Be Kind" school-wide theme. Bookmarks will need to be turned in to Mrs. Christy Sisneros by September 23, 2021. Only one entry per student is accepted. Please include your child's name, teacher's name, and grade level.

We will have teachers judging the competition. The top 10 students will win prizes and have their winning bookmark showcased in the library. If you have any questions please email csisneros@polk.k12.ga.us.

Winners will be announced on September 24, 2021.
