My Philosophy
I believe everyone is a reader; it just takes the right book to bring out the reader in you. I will strive to provide an open and caring environment that promotes literacy using a variety of media tools and resources for the 21st-century library. Our media center is always open to everyone for research, guidance, and support.

Our library is open to all students using flexible scheduling. It is an environment that promotes reading, collaborating, and researching information using a variety of resources. I want students to love reading and become lifelong learners!

More About Mrs. Sisneros

I love learning about my students, and they love sharing. They also love hearing about my life, so I'm going to share some info. about me for the Van Wert students out there reading this. I can't wait to see you in the library this school year. I love Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren. Pippi was one of the first characters that I couldn't stop reading about as a child. I even named my first dog after Pippi. I enjoyed reading the Baby-Sitters Club, The Borrowers, and The Littles.

Life is a gift, and each day I am here, I am excited I get to encourage students to read, write, and become motivated learners. I take pictures, spend a lot of time outdoors, and love to read non-fiction and mystery books. I love learning about everything and reading is a great way to learn! In addition to teaching and reading, I love photography, painting, and drawing.
