Probability Seminar

The UA Ruhr Probability Seminar is a joint seminar of the probability groups at Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen. It is organized by Anita Winter (UDE), Jan Nagel (TUD) and Christoph Thäle (RUB).

The seminar provides a common forum for probability theory across the three UA Ruhr universities. Its aim is to bring together researchers from the different locations, foster scientific exchange and new collaborations, and strengthen probability as a connected research community within the University Alliance Ruhr. Each meeting features three talks covering a broad range of topics in modern probability and related areas. 

By connecting the probability groups across Bochum, Dortmund, and Duisburg-Essen, the seminar contributes to the growing cross-university research environment of the UA Ruhr and provides a platform for exchange with guests from Germany and abroad.

The seminar is open to everyone interested in probability theory. Guests are very welcome!
