About Me

My name is Christopher Tranchina. I attended the New York Urban Assembly Harbor School from 2021-2024, and studied Marine Biology. I have been very interested in Marine life and all animals for that fact since I can remember. I am passionate about all aspects of living animals and will pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I have interned at Brooklyn Roots Veterinary Hospital for around 170 hours and I have been given the opportunity to work there as a Veterinary Assistant. I am very good at being a leader and working well with others. I pick up new skills very quickly and work well with scientific gear. However, I am working on improving my concentration and stamina skills so that I can focus on tasks for longer periods of time. Also, I am certified in both laboratory and chemical safety. According to my INTJ Myers Briggs code, I am confident, self-sufficient, analytical, and a good problem solver.
