Quaternary Environments and Geoarchaeology
I am part of the Quaternary Environments and Geoarchaeology (QEG) Research Group with colleagues in the Department of Geography at The University of Manchester.
I am also part of the Cryosphere Research at Manchester (CRAM) Research Group with colleagues from The University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University and Salford University.

Oliver Thomas (2022–2026) 'From summits to cirques: Deciphering the nature and rate of ice loss from the last Welsh Ice Cap' (with Prof. Phil Hughes and Dr Pete Ryan). Funded by a SEED Scholarship.
Shashank Nitundil (2022–2026) 'Past glaciations and palaeoenvironmental conditions in eastern Himalayas' (with Dr Abi Stone and Prof. Phil Hughes). Funded by a SEED/Presidential Scholarship.
Bingdian Wang (2023–2027) 'Glaciers and climate change in mid-latitude regions, from the Mediterranean to Qinghai-Tibet Plateau' (with Prof. Phil Hughes and Prof. Jamie Woodward).
