I am a Python expert with well over a decade of experience using Python for data analysis and processing, Qt GUIs, web development, task automation, command line utilities, and pretty much everything else. It is my daily driver. I have also coded, designed, and managed work projects using C/C++. Though, I mainly use C/C++ on personal projects, such as Arduino. I also have quite a bit of experience with Matlab, owing to my data background, and of course HTML/CSS/Java Script, which are quite common these days.
I am an avid Linux user. Many years ago I started out with Ubuntu, and I have been an Arch user on my primary home computer for a few years now. Recently, I have been using Debian at work for some deployments as well as it being the basis for Ubuntu and Raspberry Pi OS. Additionally, as most of those working in an office, I use Windows and have been using Windows since version v3.1.
I am Security+ certified and in good standing with CompTIA. What this means from a practical stand point is that I am aware of good cyber security design practices while I am planning, designing, or evaluating software and hardware solutions. Applying this knowledge allows me to create project software less vulnerable to cyber security attacks.
