Recently, deep learning for image processing has become an increasingly popular area of discussion in computer vision. Integrating advanced electronics into computer vision applications involves combining hardware and software components to enhance the capability of systems to interpret and understand visual information. This integration is crucial for a variety of fields including robotics, healthcare, automotive, and surveillance. This collection is devoted to Integrating Advanced Electronics for Computer Vision Applications. Computer vision is the field of computer science that focuses on replicating parts of the complexity of the human vision system and enabling computers to identify and process objects in images and videos the same way humans do. This collection aims to host original, unpublished, and breakthrough concepts in Computer Vision that use new algorithms and mechanisms, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning. The objective is to bring leading scientists and researchers together and create an interdisciplinary platform of computational theories, methodologies, and techniques. Integrating these advanced electronics and techniques into computer vision applications requires a multidisciplinary approach, combining expertise in electronics, computer science, and domain-specific knowledge.
Research areas may include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Computer Vision Applications,
• Intelligent Systems,
• Audio/video systems and signal processing,
• Object identification systems,
• Application of Explainable Artificial intelligence (XAI) ,
• Image Processing and Vision Computing,
• Image/video-based object detection using deep learning,
• Deep learning-based object detection for real-world applications,
• Image, video, and 3D scene processing,
• Autonomous vehicles and robotics,
• Healthcare, automotive, and surveillance applications,
• Traffic sign and Road sign Recognition,
• Natural Language Processing and Text recognition,
• Applications of AI in medicine, healthcare, and bioinformatics.
