Hi! My name is Christina DaCosta and I am a recent graduate from Brock University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Math and a Bachelor of Education with a teaching certification in intermediate-senior math and history.
I have experience student teaching in Dufferin Peel District School Board where I taught Grade 9 De-Streamed Math, Grade 10 Academic Math, Grade 10 Applied Math, and Grade 12 Advanced Functions at three different schools. I also observed a Grade 10 History class and created some lessons that the classroom teacher gave. I have also led a Scratch workshop for a grade 8 class in which we introduced coding in Scratch and led an activity for the students.
I have a passion in content creation and sharing knowledge. I enjoy reading, writing, planning, and learning about new things. I want to pursue a career that involves content, course, or program creation.
I have knowledge in mathematics, history, mythology, technology, and education.
