Christian music, also known as gospel, creates a relaxing mood by using instruments like pianos, trumpets, guitars, drums, and having a adagio or allegretto  speed tempo. Using all of these features, the music is able to sound very relaxing, and even holy at times. In terms of texture, many would describe the music as homophonic, as there is usually one main singer, with background instruments or background singers. This helps you connect more with the music, as it helps it sound peaceful and calming, and it also makes it sound more powerful because there are more people sharing the message.
