Christianity is a religion that dates back all the way to the mid-first century BCE. It revolves around a man named Jesus of Nazareth, or commonly referred to as Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was a man born between the years of 6 BCE and 4 BCE. Jesus Christ claimed to be the son of God. This was already proven enough, as he was birthed by the Virgin Mary, who has never had intercourse. But even then, people did not believe that Jesus was the son of God. Jesus Christ has done things that are considered miracles by many, doing things like turning water into wine, curing a mans blindness, teaching God's teachings, and many more things that are absolutely impossible to people like you and I. Because of this, people began to take an extreme liking to Jesus Christ, and started a religion to revolve around him.
Eventually, with the help of the mysterious staircase that led to the Pontius Pilate, Jesus was brought to Rome. In Rome, many of the Romans believed that Christ was absolutely lying about him being a descendant of God. They considered it to be mocking God, and it was punishable by death. So, they crucified Jesus Christ. They put him on a big, wooden cross, with his arms spread and his feet tied up at the bottom. They, they hammered the hands and feet in with nails, ensuring he wouldn't escape. It is said that at this point, thousands of angels were prepared to go down to Earth, save Jesus, and destroy the entire planet. But Jesus, being the great man He is, called them off, and told the angels that He would forgive the humans. After approximately six hours being crucified, Jesus Christ succumbed to his injuries, and died on the cross. But, three days later, by a miracle, Jesus Christ arose from the dead and continued on for another forty days. This sparked a lot of beliefs, confusion, and caused a skyrocket in Christianity.
