Art is an opportunity for me to look and study form, shape and color. I am influenced by organic form, colors and places that are weathered by time yet retain their original character. Nature inspires me with its bold matching and opposite colors and gestural lines that wrap around loosely, and then connect to form. I use line as a means of capturing the feeling of my subject. I continue to evolve my practice and play with new materials.
