Huber Lab

About

The Huber Lab is part of the The Pennsylvania State University Biology department in the Eberly College of Science. The lab is also affiliated with Bioinformatics and Genomics in the Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences.

We are interested in quantifying positive and negative natural selection in the genome. We examine how evolutionary mechanisms such as mutation, recombination, and natural selection shape genetic diversity and the variability between individuals and species.

Currently we are working on methods for inferring demographic history and genetic adaptation from ancient DNA.
