Results
The process for 3-Dimensional reconstruction used 386 into the Hounsfield scale, 245 slices, and mesh processing by MeshLab and Laplacian smoothing.
The open-source algorithm lets its application for segmentation and reconstruction of bone tissue of any body part. Also, it opens an opportunity to explore its use in surgery training, simulation, and navigation.
