CLASS CODE:  WRP6Y

  • Online orders only please!

We will be asking each student to provide a snack for the entire class for their assigned weeks.  This way every student has a snack everyday.  After each student has had a turn, the remaining weeks are divided up as fair as possible.  If you share a week each, bring enough for ½ of that assigned week.  I will adjust and send out a new snack schedule if we have any changes to our class roster.

Ideas:  One student might bring in a couple boxes of different crackers, along with a bag of puffcorn, pretzels, a box of fruit snacks, and mini carrots. (We put out a few choices each day for the students to pick from.)  Other ideas include bananas, yogurt, pudding cups, string cheese, cookies, Chex Mix, etc.   I do have a small fridge in my classroom for cold snacks, but I do not have a freezer.   ***Please send spoons if needed for your snack***

Bulk Snacks:  The snacks must be store-bought but do not need to be individually packaged.  We can portion out the snacks into baggies. Ex:  Mega container of animal crackers, pre-popped large bags of popcorn or chips, etc.. If you are sending fresh fruit that requires portioning, please wash and portion them prior to sending them to school (grapes, strawberries, etc…)

 ·   Reminder:  We are a nut free school.  Please check ingredients before bringing snacks into the school.

 ·   When it is your snack week, please bring in all of your bulk snacks on the first day of the week so we can portion them out correctly for the whole week.

 ·   Please let me know if there are any issues. It may seem like a lot, but your child will only need to bring snack for up to 10 days the entire school year 😊

Water Bottles

Each student may bring a water bottle labeled with their name.   Please wash them often.

P.E. SHOES

Non-marking gym shoes are required.  Please send a pair to keep in their locker.  Don't forget to have an extra pair of socks in case your child wore sandals to school.
