My life Before Christ was quite interesting. I nave to be careful how I speak, because BC does not mean he was not at work to me. BC just represents the time that I did not acknowledge or accept the work that Christ was doing. I was saved at 7 and baptized at 8 like a typical Baptist boy growing up in the South. I experimented with drinking and smoking as a teenager. As a young adult pornography and sex were also introduced and accepted as reasonable past times. of course, I still participated in church activities like a good hypocrite.
I was raised to never abandon the church no matter what you are doing. If I came in at 5am I was still expected to attend worship. Even when I went to college in Charleston I was told to find a church and worship. I grew even more comfortable in my hypocritical ways at school. So before Christ was given rule I had 15 years of solid practice and training of the Christian hypocrite. I have since found there are hypocrites in every religion, race, political affiliation, gender, social class, and economic statis. Maybe you are or once were a hypocrite. If you are not, I hope you will never be.
