Instructional Design involves creating a learning curriculum for education or a business that fits the needs of a target audience in terms of how to make the learning experience beneficial to all and the same can be done for companies and organizations who want to better train their workers for challenges in this post Covid work and school environment.
A project that I did involved art school freshmen who do design without technology and the project is called "Design as the Understanding" in which these students are broken up into teams to create an advertisement campaign, design logos and create a corporate identification projects, an egg drop challenge to build a structure with an egg inside and make sure the egg dosen't break and also create an annual report or product brochure on their progress and other design related projects and the purpose of not using technology is to create design and creative thinking through teamwork and using 1980's era tools such as pantone paper, spray mount, mat knifes, etc. so the point of the curriculum deals with creative thinking without computers or graphic design software.
