Are you struggling with a sense of meaning? Are you having difficulty in school or your career? Are you finding it hard to adjust to a life transition? Are you having issues with romantic, familial, or platonic relationships? Instead of a sense of identity, purpose, and contentment are you experiencing stress, low self-esteem, anxiety, or depression? Do your own efforts to overcome these issues feel ineffective or somehow even perpetuate them? Do you want to understand why you are feeling and acting like this? Would you like to achieve self-understanding and develop meaningful relationships, well-being, and purpose?
I will draw on my training in clinical social work and critical theory to cultivate an empathetic and supportive therapeutic environment to explore, uncover, and empower. I welcome all adolescents, adults, and couples. We will work collaboratively, relationally, and psychodynamically to understand how past and current desires, social processes, and relationships shape inhibiting patterns of thoughts, emotions, and actions, developing self-understanding, connection, autonomy, and purpose.
I see clients in person on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and virtually, with appointments on weekdays in the morning, midday, and evening to accommodate your schedule.
I am in-network with many health insurance providers, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, Fidelis, HealthFirst, and Molina, among others. You can schedule an initial appointment with me at this link.
