Yuzhong Distrido 渝中区
Cable carril de Yangtse Río (entrada requerida): el solo sobreviviente sobre el Yangtse, cruza el río dentro 4 min y tiene impresionante vista en contraste con los altos edificios
Hongyadong Cueva: replicada y vivida representación del área residencial tradicional en el acantilado. Un lugar de Tik Tok. La vista nocturnal impresionante con la luz después de las 1930PM
Jiefangbei Cuadrado: una zona de las calles peatonales y comerciales, con un monumento de liberación situado en el centro de la zona. Es similar a Times Square de Nuevo York.
Liziba Monocarril Estación: la primera línea monocarril de China, un lugar de Tik Tok
Callejones de Montañesa Ciudad: buena vista de viejo Chongqing con callejones estrechos y en zig-zag. Puede recordar a los días coloniales cerca de 1890s-1930s
Raffles City (Mall): impresionante vista de altos edificios similares a ese de Singapur, una plaza donde se ve la confluencia de dos ríos
18-Pasos Calle Vieja: recuperada vista de tradicional residencial área en contraste a edificios modernos
Vista nocturna en ferry por dos ríos (entrada requerida): una buena opción si quiere obtener una experiencia de la excursión en el río. Se ve la vista comparable a ese de Hong Kong. La excursión dura cerca de 50 minutos

Museo de Tres Gargantas (reservación requerida): se aprende la historia antigua y local, y se ve los buscados arqueológicos antes de lo que se construyó La Presa.
Camino de Gastronomía: un ruidoso camino por bocadillos y diversos sabrosos. 5 minutos cerca de Jiefangbei de pie.
E´ling Parque: se construyó en 1904 como un jardín privado. Se aplicó por Chiang Kai-shek administración y otros consulados como sus oficinas de verano durante WWII.
Está colocado en el punto más alto de la península de Chongqing.
Artística Zona de E´ling Segunda Fábrica: la segunda fábrica de dinero imprimido. Ahora es un lugar de Tik Tok donde muchos comedores, estudios y tiendas creativos.
Chaotianmen Plaza: la puerta de muralla delante de la ciudad urbana. Se conduce el este hace Nanjing, la capital de imperial China.
El nombre de Chaotianmen significa la puerta donde se atienda la familia real. Ahora aquí se ve la confluencia de dos ríos.
Se situa delante de Raffles
El Auditorio/Sala Popular: se construyó en 1950s como las oficinas del gobierno. Es similar al Templo de Cielo de Pekín. Ahora funciona como un símbolo spiritual y una sala de espectáculo musical.
Se situa al otro lado del Museo de Tres Gargantas
Kuixinglou (La Pagoda de la Deidad de la Sabiduría): la pagoda construida 900 años antes fue desmantelada durante 1950s. Precisamente es que la plaza con un puente peatonal obtiene fama en la red social porque aquí se ve la típica representación montañosa – la diferencia de altitud entre el primer y el vigesimosegundo piso.
*Está 10 minutos de pie de Jiefangbei (El Monumento)
Huguang Salón del Gremio (entrada requerida): es un complejo residencial de cerca de 500-400 años de historia. Es una evidencia vivida de influencia arquitectural de otras partes de China y de la inmigración entre diferentes provincias del Sur de China. Las mansiones y casas sirven de lugares de reunión y conferencia para los inmigrantes y empresarios de misma provincia.

La Muralla/Puerta de la Ciudad
Surrounded by two rivers, Chongqing Peninsula (a triangle) has a unique landscape with 17 wall gates, unlike any other places in China and in the world.
But there are only 2 gates still in use.

Mercado de Comida（街市/菜市场）: a very down-to-earth place where you could have a basic understanding how people lead their life, what they have on the dinner table.

Two markets are recommended (one is close to People's Auditorium, another to Jiefangbei Square), and you may visit either of them.

El Escalador de Corona (entrada requerida): built in late 1990s by Hong Kong developer, a good choice if you want to experience the great height difference in the urban city.
A 3-min ride on the 32° steep slope.
The second longest escalator in Asia following the one inside the train station in Pyongyang
Mercado de Casamiento （相亲角）: Despite of the momentum for dating Apps and speed date, (elder-generation) Chinese are still used to a very down-to-earth practice of finding the Mr/Mrs. Right😜, not for themselves, BUT for their children remaining single and into 30s. It is prevalent across China, and Chongqing has its own version.
It is related to sociopolitical policy (One-Child, for example) and development intertwined with Chinese traditional family ethics.

Nan'an Distrito 南岸区
Danzishi Old Street: the replicated street view that is reminiscent of colonial days during late 1890s and early 1900s. Mansions of wealthy family, residential complex, etc
A view platform to see the breath-taking Yangtse River confluencing with its subsdiary
Longmenhao Old Street: the well-preserved mansions and residences (now turned into cafes and shops) that can be dated to early 1900s together with some foreign embassies during the WWII.
A 20-min walk by the River Promenade would carry your trouble away

Shapingba Distrito 沙坪坝区
Ciqikou (Porcelain Harbor) Old Street: one of top 10 old towns in China, a bustling town by the Jialing River dated to the 10th century

Martyr's Cemetry (烈士墓)+Zhazidong (渣滓洞)+Bai's Mansion (白公馆), three sites in a row in the mid-level of Gele Mt.(歌乐山), all free to public -- very politicized, NOT quite interesting for foreigners, especially from western countries
Martyr's Cemetry (烈士墓): a shrine in memory of the communist martyrs who were killed before Chongqing's was "liberated" from Nationalist Gov in 1940s.
Zhazidong (渣滓洞): the prison founded by Nationalist to keep communists "rebels", many inhumane torture and prosecution utilities on display
Bai's Mansion (白公馆): the custodian utility used by Nationalists to jail political enemies, and used to accommodate U.S alliances during WWII.
*Nationalist Party was founded by Sun Yat-sen, and succeeded by Chiang Kai-shek who founded modern Taiwan regime.
*Chongqing is the place where the peacetalk about formality of ruling and coalition between Nationalist and Communist Party broke, and the Cvil War ensued (1945-1949).
Jiangbei & Yubei Distritos 江北和渝北区
Ring Mall: a shopping mall featured by its indoors jungle and forests. A Tik Tok hotspot.
*not in the downtowns, but close to the Airport
Hong'en Temple (鸿恩寺): a Tik Tok sensation for its brightly lighted tower during the night.
*The tower is a replica. There "was" a temple long time ago.

A revived community reminiscent of days and buildings for socialist planning economy in 1970s. * some old neighborhoods remain such as the workers' dormitory of factory. You can try the "collective canteen"--a pilot project for seniors who can access the subsided meal

Jiaotong Tea House (交通茶馆): close to the Graffiti St.
A well-preserved tea shop and recreational venue for local Chongqing-ers dated to 1980s.
