The Commission for the History of Physics (CHP) is part of the Division of History of Science and Technology (DHST) of the International Union of History and Philosophy of Science (IUHPS). Its purpose is to foster the study of the history of physics and related sciences across a range of cultures and chronological periods.
The primary goals of CHP include facilitating communication among historians of physics and related sciences and support young scholars working on these subjects.
