These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ChoreQuest mobile application (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who Can Use ChoreQuest

ChoreQuest accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian (“you”). You must be an adult capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account. Children use the App only through a profile added by their parent, under that parent's account and supervision — a child does not independently agree to these Terms.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including each child's profile.

• You may add, edit, or remove a child's profile and PIN at any time.

• If a child is given their own PIN to sign in independently, you remain responsible for how that device and PIN are used.

3. What ChoreQuest Does

ChoreQuest is a household organization tool. It lets a parent assign chores, track their completion, award points, and let children redeem those points for rewards that the parent has set up. ChoreQuest is a family coordination tool — it does not verify that a chore was actually completed in the physical world, and relies on the parent's own review and approval.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any purpose other than managing chores and rewards within your own family.

• Attempt to access another family's account or data.

• Interfere with or disrupt the App's normal operation.

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law.

5. Points and Rewards

Points earned within ChoreQuest exist only inside the App and have no cash value, cannot be transferred outside the App, and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value except as the parent themselves decides when setting up a reward. If a parent creates a monetary reward (for example, an allowance amount), fulfilling that reward — including any actual payment — is solely between the parent and their child. ChoreQuest does not process payments, hold funds, or guarantee that any reward will be provided.

6. Subscriptions and Fees

ChoreQuest may offer a free tier alongside a paid subscription plan with additional features. If you subscribe to a paid plan, billing terms will be presented to you at the time of purchase. We may change pricing or what is included in each plan in the future; we will let you know of any material changes affecting an active subscription.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of the information you enter into ChoreQuest (such as chore names and descriptions). By using the App, you give us permission to store and process that information solely to provide the App's features to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

You may stop using ChoreQuest and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is being used in a way that risks harm to other users or the App itself.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

ChoreQuest is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChoreQuest and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any dispute between a parent and child over chores, points, or rewards.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the App evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law
