Welcome to the Urban Policy Design Lab at Incheon National University

At LUCID, we bridge architecture, urban design, and public administration/policy to explore solutions for sustainable and citizen-centered urban futures. Our interdisciplinary research spans public policy, urban management, behavioral public service design, community-based urban regeneration, and design-oriented policymaking. 

Currently, LUCID (Prof. Hemin Choi) is seeking researchers  to join our ongoing interdisciplinary research & book projects on the following topics: 

• AI, Social Capital and Psychological Well-being : Behavioral Public Service Design Approach 

• The Future of Higher Education, EdTech and Campus Master Planning

• City Competitiveness, Attractiveness, and the 'Vote with Feet' 

• City-to-City Collaboration for Sustainable Development

Eligibility: Open to students in urban science–related fields with an interest in interdisciplinary research and design for cities. 

Research stipend and space will be provided.
