What is a Lexile level: A variety of assessment tools can be use to determine your child's Lexile level. The Lexile level determines how well your child reads and pairs then with a list of leveled books that are challenging enough for them to improve, but easy enough for them to read independently. The Rock Hill School District uses MAP scores to determine your child's Lexile level.
