I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to see Wicked in a small screening room at Sky Studios Elstree (where the film was made) and got to see some of the film props too. Great film but I prefered the theatre show.

Friday 29th November

I'm volunteering at the GET charity bookshop in The Spires in Barnet all day today. Pop in and say Hi and pick up 3 free books

Last Sunday I visited 66 Book club in Hemel Hempstead. After a 2 hour queue it was worth the wait to have access to thousands of cut price books. I've stocked up on plenty to keep me busy for a while...  well until my next visit at least. I highly recommend a visit as it is worth the wait.

Over the summer I helped out at the Global Educational Trust charity bookshop in High Barnet. It's a great idea that encourages reading by allowing 3 free books per customer per day. All books are donated and are recycled to avid readers to save them from going to landfill. If you have a GET bookshop near you be sure to check it out

Last week I went to see Six - The Musical. Its an amazing production and I recommend you see it.
