I am a Lecturer & Researcher in Electrical Engineering at the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia, with a strong interest in power electronics, inverter control, and renewable energy integration. I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering and focus my research on developing robust, practical, and implementation-oriented control strategies for power electronic converters that improve stability, power quality, and overall system performance.
My research interests span grid-connected and LC-filtered inverters, observer-based control, and LMI-based optimization, with particular attention to real-world challenges such as uncertain grid impedance, unbalanced grid voltages, and discrete-time digital implementation. My work aims to bridge the gap between theoretical control design and practical engineering applications in modern power systems.
I have contributed to journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters published in venues indexed by Scopus and Web of Science, including publications from IEEE, Springer, Wiley, MDPI, and Elsevier. Beyond research, I actively contribute to the academic community through peer review, editorial activities, and participation as a reviewer and session chair at international conferences. Some of my research contributions have also been recognized with Best Paper Awards at international conferences.
My research has been presented at international conferences across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, providing opportunities to exchange ideas and build collaborations with researchers and engineers from different backgrounds. I am particularly interested in collaborative research that connects advanced control theory with practical energy and power-electronics applications.
Beyond publications and research outcomes, I am passionate about engineering education and about supporting the next generation of engineers and researchers. My long-term goal is to contribute to the development of reliable, intelligent, and sustainable electrical energy systems through research, education, and international collaboration.
