Jayanti is a dedicated counseling psychologist with a BA and MA in Psychology, currently joining Chitt Organization as a Counseling Psychologist and Advisor. She brings a deep sense of empathy and insight to her work, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional, relational, and existential challenges. With her calm presence and reflective approach, she aims to help clients reconnect with their sense of self and navigate life’s complexities with greater awareness and compassion.
Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that “the person is not the problem; the problem is the problem.” Jayanti approaches each individual through a non-diagnostic, empowering lens, encouraging them to separate their identity from their struggles. She views therapy as a collaborative process where people are guided to rediscover the agency and wisdom within themselves. Through exploration and dialogue, she helps clients unpack the stories that have shaped their experiences and empowers them to rewrite these narratives with renewed strength and clarity.
Drawing from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Jayanti’s work embodies an integrative and compassionate style. Her sessions provide a safe and nurturing space for clients to express themselves freely, whether they are seeking to understand their emotions, improve relationships, or find meaning in moments of uncertainty. She believes that true healing begins when individuals feel seen, heard, and valued for who they truly are.
At the heart of her practice lies a profound faith in the transformative power of language and stories. Jayanti holds that change begins when people start telling their stories differently, opening the door to self-acceptance, growth, and emotional freedom. Through her role at Chitt Organization, she hopes to contribute to building a culture of empathy and mental wellness that honors the complexity and beauty of the human experience.
