Established PTAs at 4 of our campuses, crowning every campus in CHISD with a PTA.
Helped organize and establish a District-wide Community Closet for our families to receive free standard dress items, coats and school supplies through out the year.

We hosted a Black Santa photography event to foster a sense of belonging, celebrate diversity, challenge stereotypes, and promote understanding among students. It sends a powerful message to our students, and community, that everyone is valued, regardless of their racial or cultural background.

This yearly event put on by the Texas PTA is the largest PTA training and networking event in the country! There are so many opportunities to take trainings, sit at round table discussion with PTA Leaders from across the State, learn about Vendors that work specifically with other PTAs across Texas, and so much more!

The 2022-2024 National PTA Schools of Excellence are recognized for their commitment to building an inclusive and welcoming school-community where all families contribute to enriching the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.
The National PTA School of Excellence program is an improvement and recognition program that supports and celebrates partnerships between PTAs, families and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students. These PTA members and school administrators are making a year-long commitment to identify and implement an action plan for school improvement based on National PTA's National Standards for Family-School Partnerships and informed by National PTA’s Center for Family Engagement. At a National PTA School of Excellence, families feel welcomed and empowered to support student success, and PTA is a key partner in continuous school improvement.
