Established in 2017, Cedar Hill Council of PTAs provides oversight and support for 10 local unit PTAs with the District. All PTAs in Cedar Hill ISD are chartered units operating under the umbrella of Texas and National PTA, the largest association advocating for students and education.
The mission of PTA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Our Parent-Teacher Association is more than just an organization; it's a dynamic force fueled by the collective passion and commitment of parents, teachers, and community members. Established with the vision of fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for every child, The CHISD Council of PTAs stands as a cornerstone in the bridge between home and school.
At the core of our mission is the belief that every child deserves the best education possible. We work tirelessly to ensure that this goal is not just met but exceeded. By uniting parents, teachers, and the broader community, we create a powerful network of individuals dedicated to providing a well-rounded and empowering educational experience for every student.
Our PTA is not just an advocate for academic excellence; we are also champions of inclusivity and diversity. We strive to create an environment where every child feels valued and supported, regardless of their background, abilities, or circumstances. Through various initiatives, events, and programs, we celebrate the unique strengths and contributions of each member of our diverse school community.
Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. By working hand-in-hand with teachers, administrators, and the community, we build a strong foundation for success. From organizing engaging events to fundraising for vital resources, The CHISD Council of PTAs is dedicated to enhancing the overall educational experience for every child.
As a PTA, we understand that a thriving educational community requires active involvement from everyone. We invite you to join us in this journey of advocacy, support, and celebration. Whether you are a parent, teacher, or community member, your contribution is invaluable, and together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of our students.
