Chioma Nwafor is a Quantitative Financial Risk and Financial Technology lecturer at Glasgow Caledonian University Scotland and leads the Quantitative Data Analytics team at CEDAF Ltd Scotland. Chioma develops novel risk and forecasting solutions for organisations in these roles while providing thought leadership on related trends in developed and emerging economies. She is the founder and Executive Director of the Diaspora African Women’s Support Network CIC (DAWSUN) Glasgow. And an adjunct lecturer at the London Postgraduate Credit Management College (LPCMC) and Postgraduate School for Credit and Financial Management Lagos, Nigeria. Chioma has experience managing and executing research and consultancy projects in the U.K. and Africa. She holds a BSc Degree in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria and Postgraduate and Doctorate degrees in Monetary and Financial Economics from the Adam Smith Business School University of Glasgow. Chioma is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy U.K., a Fellow of the National Institute of Credit Administration (Chartered) Nigeria and a Licenced International Financial Analysts U.S.A. She is a Licensed Broker/Dealer, Licensed Financial Analyst, and a Certified Capital Market Registrar. Chioma was recently elected as the Deputy Chairperson of the Credit Management Accreditation Committee (CMAC) of NICA, the largest professional body for Credit Risk Specialists in Africa. The CMAC is charged with the responsibility of developing the Standard/Framework For the Education and Practice of Credit Management and Administration in Nigeria.
Chioma is happily married with three children and enjoys watching movies and cycling in her spare time.
