This is what community looks like!
The Chintimini Early Career Educator Retreat (CECER) brings cohorts of veteran educators and those in the first five years of their career together for high-quality professional learning and community building. A unique regional opportunity, CECER creates space for new educators to gain tools, receive mentorship, and build strong connections that sustain passion and empower leadership—supporting students and school communities for years to come.
Since the first CECER in 2016, over 130 early career educators have attended, 38% of who went on to fill one or more leadership roles at the local, council, and/ or state level of the Association.
CECER is funded in part through a grant from the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund (STCCF)
