Want to play the ukulele or enhance your uke skills? The “Fountain of Uke” performing group is for you! Ukes on loan to newcomers. The group occasionally performs for community functions. Ages 10 and up.

Meet our Amazing Instructors:

SARA HOOGENRAADAuditioning, Summer Camps
Sarah Hoogenraad is so excited to be back after spending the last few years performing in China as an opening cast member at Universal Studios Beijing. She has a BFA in Acting from Hofstra University, and works as a performer based in NYC. She grew up at CCCT, and has spent many seasons of her life both performing and educating at this wonderful establishment. She is so excited to spend the summer celebrating theatre and empowering young people with the tools to follow their passions.
MARLEE LANESummer Camps
Marlee Lane has a theatre degree from California State University Northridge. She has been at the Chino Community Children’s Theatre and the Chino Community Theatre for 8 years, working as a stage manager, sound board operator, spotlight tech, prop designer, director, and scenic designer. She has also been a prop artisan, dresser, and assistant scenic designer through CSUN’s theatre program. Marlee has developed her love for theatre here at the Seventh Street Theatre and hopes to pass that along to the next generation of kids looking for an amazing artistic outlet in their own community. 
PAUL LARSONFountain of Uke
Paul is a retired, award-winning educator who served as a teacher in grades 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8, as well as an elementary and junior high school administrator. Paul has also taught graduate students at the University of Redlands in their Educational Technology Certificate Program.
Along with his wife Karen, Paul founded the Chino Community Children's Theatre and Chino Community Theatre in 1984, and he's served in nearly every capacity over the years: onstage, backstage, and on the boards of directors for both organizations. All three of his children remain connected with the Arts: Jeff as as an Obie and Bessie Award-winning Theatrical Production Manager at University of Washington, Jessie as Theatre Instructor at Ontario High School in California; a director, choreographer, actor and as a board member at CCCT, and Jenna as an Event Coordinator in the Culinary Arts.
Paul feels honored to be the recipient of numerous Inland Theatre League Awards over the years, and to have been selected with his wife, Karen, as Chino's 1995 and 2011 "Sweethearts of the Year", the 2014 San Bernardino County Layman's Service Award recipients, the 2015 Edwin Rhodes Community Service Award recipients as well as the 2016 City of Chino Spirit of Achievement Award. He was also honored as Chino Valley USD's Teacher of the Year, as a Los Angeles Music Center's BRAVO Award recipient, the University of La Verne's Spirit of La Verne Alumni Award in 2015 recipient and Chino Community Theatre's President's Service Award in 2017.
LUKE SCHAUMANNSummer Camps
Luke Schaumann is a college student taking multiple theatre and voice classes. Luke has been with Chino Community Children’s Theatre the theatre since he was nine years old and was a junior counselor before becoming a camp instructor. He is super excited to continue as the camp music counselor. Luke loves working with children and hopes to use this experience to become a teacher in the future. He looks forward to seeing all of you this summer and can’t wait for the memories to come.
