Chino Community Children's Theatre was founded in 1984 by educators and community leaders Paul and Karen Larson to provide a nurturing environment to educate and entertain the youth of the Greater Chino Community in the realm of the theatre arts.

OUR MISSION

The Chino Community Children's Theatre is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. We provide an opportunity for the children in the community and their families to become involved in the theatre arts. Our goal is to educate and entertain in an environment of mutual respect for all ages and abilities.

ANNUAL THEATRE TECH SCHOLARSHIP

CCCT sponsors Magic Penny: The Kenny Walsh Theatre Tech Scholarship. Applications open each spring, and the recipient(s) is announced in early summer.  All college or trade school students (currently in or entering in the upcoming school year) who are affiliated with CCCT/CCT and studying any technical field of theatre (lights, sound, stage management, costuming, etc.) are eligible to apply. This annual scholarship, guaranteed by the Rice family, is funded through Chino Community Children's Theatre.

CAMP BRAVO SCHOLARSHIP

Each year, Chino Community Children's Theatre offers a full or multiple partial scholarships to Camp Bravo, the renowned theatre camp that takes place each summer in our local mountains.  High school students who have participated in CCCT productions, camps, or workshops are eligible to apply.  Applications are due by March 1 each year and announced soon thereafter.

CCCT INTERN BOARD

The Chino Community Children’s Theatre Intern Board is a volunteer advisory council of youth reaching out to youth as creative agents of change supporting innovation, communication, and involvement throughout our theatre community. The Board is also advised by former youth who grew up in this theatre community.
