Data Analyst | Full-time Employment | American Express, Gurgaon - Returned to my full-time role in the Commercial New Accounts Decision Science Team. Implementing state of the art data science techniques coupled with boosting-based machine learning methods to develop underwriting risk models for the US customer base.  

Institute Student Mentor | Student Mentorship Programme, IIT Bombay - Part of a 144 membered team playing a facilitative, supportive and developmental role for junior students and bridging the faculty‐student gap. Responsible for mentoring 14 freshmen and ensuring a smooth transition to college life. 

System Engineer & GNC Subsystem Head | Student Satellite Program, IIT Bombay - Jointly led a multi-disciplinary team of 50+ students across 4 projects with INR 2.8M annual budget.  Supervised the design, implementation, testing & integration of a Closed Loop Simulation framework using MATLAB & Simulink for the attitude determination & control of small satellite systems.

Teaching Assistant | ME312 - Introduction to Industrial Engineering and Operations Research - I, IIT Bombay (Prof. Avinash Bharadwaj) - Responsible for continuous and cumulative mentoring and evaluation of 25+ students for a semester-long course project. Conducted weekly meetings to help students explore advanced concepts in mathematical optimization. 

Data Analyst | Summer Internship | American Express, Bangalore - I did my summer internship in the US Commercial Credit Risk Team. Implemented a 3-stage machine learning framework for predicting optimal line for a customer for the Business Line of Credit product. My model outperformed the then-existing production model in the high risk, high revenue and premium consumer brackets. I was awarded a Pre-Placement Offer on the basis of outstanding performance during the internship. 

Teaching Assistant | PH108 - Basics of Electricity and Magnetism, IIT Bombay (Prof. Raghunath Chellakkot) - Conducted weekly recitations for 35+ students across various departments, in the online format. Created supplementary content on difficult topics and assisted the course instructors in the grading and evaluation of exams.
