This course is designed so at the end of this 8-week course you will know about how infants and toddlers develop and how diverse experiences influence that development.
Demonstrate knowledge of biological and environmental factors that influence pre-conception and prenatal health and development.
Analyze the multiple contextual influences on infant and toddler development including diverse family practices and environments.

A study of infants and toddlers from pre-conception to age three including physical, cognitive, language, social, and emotional growth and development. Students will apply theoretical frameworks to interpret behavior and interactions between heredity and environment. This course emphasizes the role of family and relationships in development.
We will use two texts for our course. Both of them are available to you for free!
