As we all know, Chiikawa is the star of the series. Chiikawa is ina trio with Hachiware and Usagi. Chiikawa can't really talk and just use random phrases to communicate with his friends, and they do seem to understand each other. Chiikawa is also timid and a bit of a crybaby.

The exact species of Chiikawa hasn't been officially confirmed by Nagano. But sometimes Chiikawa is associated to a bear or a hamster. But Chiikawa looks more like a hamster because of the round ears.
